The front washers won't spray.. I have looked and looked for a fuse and can't find anything in the owners manual.. It makes reference to about 2 or 3 different fuses for the wipers, but nothing seems to be tied to the washer motor..
I can't hear the pump even trying to work if I turn on just the ignition on a quiet night.. I can hear the rear one work, but not the front one.. Wipers work, just no washer fluid..
Anyone have a similar issue? What was the fix?
Am I missing maybe a relay or something under the hood that could be blown?
You can check yours to see if this is your issue very easily.
Open the front passengers door. Pull back the carpet from the outside TOP corner next to the side kick plate. You will find a rubber elbow and a semi rigid hose. If they are disconnected...simply push them back together and you may have your issue solved.
I've had to do this to mine 2 or 3 times...I haven't zip tied mine yet...it is too easy of a fix...at least I know if there is a blockage this point is easy to reconnect so I've left it alone.
If you can't here the pump working it probally has not come apart under the passenger floor board--but it is smart to check anyways. Mine did the same about 1 month ago and the stealership replaced the front washer motor under my extended warranty. The washer motor is up under the passenger side battery. I hear it is easy to replace but I'm just lazy.
Thanks guys, I am going to check the fitting for the heck of it, but don't think that is it.. I'm guessing the motor itself is my problem.. I don't hear it running at all..
I'll bring this back up when I get it sorted out and let you know what it was..
I use them often, and have never had an issue with the spray or the spray getting worse.. I would think it odd that both jets suddenly plugged up overnight.. Really don't think it's wax buildup.
