So, this morning I called and ordered my wife a DP tuner (stock, 60 high alt. tow, 80 econ, 120 race, & Drive thru) and an overboost eliminator. I couldn't stop...I called BTS and ordered a Valve Body.
Itz only been 10 hours, and I can't wait!! Can't they just fax or e-mail this stuff to me? Itz like I'm 6 and this is going to be a week long "Christmas Eve". I'll be a wreck by the time it all shows up!!
BTW, Both businesses were truly pleasurable to deal with. You don't find that level of genuine caring and customer service in todays day and age. My hat is off to both. THANK YOU!
And thanks to my fellow FTE'ers for talking me out of yet another payckeck!!
You wish they can use WINZIP and compress all them goodies to a .zip file and email it to yea. I know the feeling when i am waiting for something to.
Congrats. Wish my wife would buy me that stuff. I bet you wife is proud driving that machine around and your spunking it up and all.. Good for her. My wife says "tuck to big."
Know that feeling. Been waiting on my wiring harness to put my'05 lights on for over a week! Just ordered my cyroed powerslots last night so I'm waiting on them to. Not to hyjack the thread but whats the drive thru tune all about?
I don't know the details of how exactly Jody does it, but it quiets the motor so you don't have to shut the truck off to order at a drive thru window. I'd imagine it de-fuels the motor, as I've heard the speed is limited to 10 or 15 mph. I'm sure someone else will chime in with an explaination.
Talking with DP today, they said that they are reconfiguring the website to reflect the new tunes they have. They may have an explaination there. But I don't know when it will launch.

It's not so much of a defueling as it is a huge change in timing. That's why they suggest not driving in that tune. Also, probably not a good idea to stand next to the tailpipe when in the drive-thru tune
