Magnaflow exh. problem
I have a 04 fx4 supercab. I bought the magnaflow dual rear exit exhaust(part# 16614). I had a problem with the installation of the tail pipe exhaust hangers sent with the kit. I've got them in but I don't feel they are in correctly. I've also got problems with the line up of them as they exit the rear of the truck. Has anyone experienced these problems and what have you done to fix them. Any help would be appreciated.

yup, your issues are common and the same problems I had. The hanger on the pipe directly aft of the new muffler is in the wrong spot for the stock location. You can either cut the hanger off the new pipe and re-weld it a few inches down the pipe or you could do what I did and just not use it. More than a year later I've had no issue.
If you force the hanger into the stock grommet it will cause the whole system to misalign. But, it's still a big problem to get those exit pipes lined up.
