Just one question, has anyone installed a magnaflow catback on a 04 f150 (5.4) Lariet? I've been searching for part# and have found 2 that I think will work, 15821 and 15609. I think I would pefer the 15609 because it is a rear exit (same as stock) but would like to know for sure it will fit!!

I just finished installing 15821, which is the closest replacement to stock in style. It exits in the same location as stock. The fitment is very nice, and I spent all of 45 minutes installing it. The system is fairly quiet, with a very minimal increase in noise in the cab at cruising speeds. Under load/accelerating, you can definitely hear it's there. The one thing I was not pleased about is the use of a 18" section of stock 2.5" piping that comes off just pass the y-pipe. Magnaflow could have easily replaced this with the 3" piping of the rest of the system. Other than that, I am very pleased. It's great to get rid of that tank of a stock muffler.

I bought it from Central Florida Motorsports (CFM). They don't stock it, but can get it here within 7-10 days depending on when their next magnaflow order is. I installed it myself on my driveway. Super easy as long as you have a sawzall to cut the tail pipe off at the back of the muffler to get it out easier.
