cd head

We just bought a used "01" Expy and wanted to install a cd changer. the factory radio (Premium sound) has all the controlls on the indash unit. Is there a plug and play after market unit out there?
Thanks
Jim

Jim-
As far as I know, there are no aftermarket CD changers that are capable of communicating with the Ford head units. However, most ford CD changers are made by Clarion, and the sound quality is very good. If you are not a clarion fan, Alpine also made some of the Ford Changers, athough these tend to cost more (but they include a mounting bracket for the center console). You can find them at radiosandmore.com or mnrelectronics.com.
