Off the wall question?

Ok, my friend has a new 2008 gmc sierra 5.3. He wants to know what the best tuner is for it. He nows I have a tuner for my 7.3 so he asked me if I would investigate. So I know this is DEFINETLY not a gm forum but does anyone on here have any suggestions on what tuner gets the 5.3 gasser the most power? I looked on some gm forums but im embarrassed to get a user name and ask. LOL

Anything he gets is only going to add 15-25hp. Gassers don't benefit from tuners like diesels do.

But no, I don't know what the best would be for his truck. Probably Superchips or something like that.

Maybe a Grantinelli tuner. There are alot of them out there but I doubt any would be as good as a DP.

Yeah, he knows he is only gonna gain a little. But every little bit helps. He wants the tuner that puts out the most hp. But anyways.....

I suggest he go on the Chebby site and ask for himself! The best gains he could get is if he had his truck on a flatbed trailer and was being towed by a Powerstroke lol

Now thats harsh travis, LOL, but true. I got to give you alot of apples to ask that on here. I don't know alot about gasser chips but your friend got to go to a cheby forum to get real input on what works for them. Or somebody will chime in that has a cheby in the back of their driveway, lol.
