Well Im taking the big leap into home ownership. Placed an offer on a house today and Im a lil nervious about it....as you can see its 2:30am and Im still up. Couldnt really sleep. Waiting until Sunday to see if they accept or not. Thanks for letting me vent a lil.
Congrats and Good Luck. The waiting is the hardest part. I bought my first house when I was 23 and I remember exactly what your feeling now. Please keep us posted!!
Good luck. House buying is a exciting, nervous and happy experience all rolled up into one. I would love a bigger garage but fear I would fill it up with even more junk than I already have. However, my '67 Mustang and momma's taxi are indoors...
darn isn't that always the way why can't they build these things for the average guy and there 4by4
I'm a carpenter and when I built my bride (of 35 years) the house of her dreams I did it all by myself. 3500 square foot ranch at a cost out of pocket of $229,000+. I did the garage for me. It had an 18'x8' overhead door. The man that installed the door for me said he had seen 18 wide before, he had seen 8' high before but never both together at the same time. I had forced air A/C and heat in it, 20, 20 amp wall outlets. In other words it was done right. 5 years later she throws me out of her life and now is married to someone I thought was a friend and they are enjoying my dream home together.........LIFE SUCKS!!
