got a 2008 F-250 CC Lariat w/out the reverse camera. Now that I'm into towing heavier trailers that you just cant manhandle when you miss backing up to hitch them, I'm thinking a reverse camera would make that task easier than getting out of the truck 2-3 times to get it right. i wish I had gotten the factory one, as it would be the best, but I dont want to spring for it. Does anyone have any product suggestions for a good reverse camera that I'm only gonna use for trailer hook up? Thanks.
I picked up a Swift Hitch, it is portable and you can even attach the camera to the back of the trailer for ease of parking in tight spots. It has night vision and you can use it in any vehicle you want.
Thinking about it. I had a guy come to my store that did the following,
Hot glued magnets to tape measures and hot glued a neon orange Styrofoam ball to the tab. The idea he was pitching was you stick one to the trailer tongue and one to your hitch, and raise the ***** so you can see them over the tail, then you back up until the ***** touch. It was a very cheap way to go, but it might get you by until you get a camera.
