Hey guys I am gonna be the proud owner of a 2001 F250 Platinum Edition Powerstroke... My father is lookin at another diesel truck probably a 1 ton this time. Anyhow he has the grill inserts on it and I was wondering if they hinder the performance/fuel economy of the truck, I think I might take them off.. I am gonna try to attach some pictures for you to see the before and after.... Thanks for the answers and comments.
PS: I currently have a 1997 Lincoln Town Car if your curious on my name..
Super duties cond. rad. will take a beating if you take them off. Even bugs will bend your fins and this will restrick your air flow. I run these on 5 truck and never had a problem.
No problems that I know of with overheating... I kinda like the look without the grill insert.. Thanks for the replys... Also any thoughts on the new diesel pickups?? Dad is looking at Dodge with the cummins... Pros vs. Cons??? Hear the new 6.4 in Ford is a pig on fuel....
