My tunes are no start, stock, 60e, 80e, 120race, and 140 agressive. Each one just gets better than the last but if i do have as big of an issue as it seems to be i must really be missing out
Lets throw one more out there then...because even with leaks it should get somewhat better. Have you tried checking with a different gauge? For all you know, your boost gauge is stopping at 17-18psi and the truck is making more.
That is a good point that believe it or not my wife brought up to me a little bit ago, i have access to an auto meter boost gauge, mine are glow shift, itll tke a couple of days to get it but ill let you know if that is the problem
Dennis, don't walk away. Your input is always appreciated here. I have bought a few items from you and always found them top drawer. glad to see you here and good luck with the "new" business.

A big X2. I got my J. Wood VB from you and even though I had to wait a bit for cores to come in you kept me updated as to when mine would be shipped out, thats why I shipped my core out quickly for the next guy, great customer service period. As with all the sponsors here, I try to spread the wealth, as you will with "All" our sponsors and your appreciated here Dennis, don't forget that...Good luck with your continuing business.
I dont have a leak in my system, everything there is good. I cant debunk my guage though, not yet, thatll come soon were getting a real bad storm tonight and tomorrow. i noticed that i could move the rod on my WG by hand a little bit about a 1/4'' or so is this normal?
Yes, that's normal with the stock actuator...unless it's "flopping" around that much. It should have tension holding it shut, but normal to be able to move it by hand.
if you have small hands with double joints, you can unhook the wg actuator and tighten up the rod some. I went two turns and my inconsistant boost readings went goodbye. It held boost much better and didnt fluctuate any afterwards.
Unhook the clip, undo the 2 bolts holding the can to the compressor housing, remove the wg actuator, hold rod with vicegrips, use small screwdriver through the hole to turn. Shorten the rod to apply more seat pressure.
i attempted this the other day when i was trouble shooting, i cant leave it on the turbo and tighten the rod. im afraid ill lose the clip on the turbo, gonna have to wait till it warms up outside. one more thing for the warm day list, lol
