Hole in trans case
Hi All,
I have a hole about the size of an eraser on the bottom of the tranny closest to the engine. If I look carefuly I can see the coverter on the other side. I do not see any visible cracks or anything else. Not sure what could have caused it. Any suggestions on what I can use to plug it?

It sounds like its in the bell housing, that can be a good thing. Fluid can't leak from there. The hole could be fixed with JB weld, as long as its not the start of a big crack. Could have just been a bubble in the casting.
