Does anyone know of an adhesive that will work in hot temperatures? I live in the Las Vegas valley where the temperatures have been in the upper 90's and low 100's. The adhesive on the Velcro, that holds the overhead pod to the windshield, keeps softening up and the pod will slide down and rest on the rear view mirror. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I know it's been a long time since this was originally posted, but there still seems to be a problem with it. Mine is superglued because of the dimpled area created by the Superduty logo on the glass. It's been on for almost 3 years now with no problems. Removal isn't really difficult if you decide you don't like it. I'd actually like to trade my overhead for a 4 gauge pillar pod if anyone is interested.
Yeah, I have never found any good stuff either. I have not looked online though.
I have some Acrylic Adhesive Hook and Loop on order. The adhesive is rated to 225. The rubber adhesive always gets soft and melts. It's my last shot before I just take a piece of the mushroom tape, the kind that comes with it, and epoxy it to the flippin' windshield. I'll let you know what happens, it'll be a few days before it's delivered.
This site has some acrylic based adhesive hook and loop rated at 350 degrees. Perfectex - Hook and Loop - Industrial
I like the mushroom tape because its thicker so I am going to look for acrylic double sided tape..... or epoxy.
Update: After many trials with all different types of velcro I finally found the best one. Velcro Tape with Acrylic-Based Adhesive
The trick is acrylic adhesive. So far it has held up in this heat very well.

Did you trim about 1/4 of an inch off yours to get a snug fit? I still get a little bit of light bleed at the top edge in the middle. No matter how hard I push up and in, it still leaks a little.
