Oh, but you do have reasons! The factory dash gauges are a little less than precise. Trans temp, water temp, oil pressure and rear gear temp for me and my V-10. The overhead 4 gauge pod and the gauges are on my list along with the F-650 dash project I'm working on. The lower dash unit will have Air pressure and voltage gauges too. Hopefully I'll have the new gauges in before next summer's towing trips. Right now I'm working on a front axle housing swap, new braided brake lines and Banks headers installation.

I was watching Overhaulin the other night on Velocity Channel...they attached some bling rocker panels and other stuff to the outside of a 300M Chrysler - WITH 3M TAPE!!!!
Apparently this stuff will NEVER come off. My guess is you could search the 3M site for it and find it. It is pressure sensitive...the harder you push it on the stronger it stays. I expect if they are using it on the outside of a vehicle to attach panels it will do the job for you. I think you can also go on overhaulin website and find it??? It was for their SEMA 300M "giveaway car"

You could mount the SGII on to your rear-view mirror and then
monitor EVERY sensor the computer provides to you?
When you want to see the Trans Temp - while towing
When you want to monitor the voltage
When you want to monitor the Coolant Temp, etc...
There is another 'custom' app now for a smart-phone using blue-tooth
that talks to an adaptor you plug-in to the ODBII port.
Just seems like these are so flexible vs. a dedicated gauge for everything.
Good luck!

I do, but I have yet to find a strong enough glue to hold the pod in place. I've even had a professional windshield company use their extra strength glue when they replaced the windshield in the Ex, but it still fell. The rear view mirror is the only thing that holds it up.

Here you go! I used the top 3M heavy duty clear plastic velcro (note: not the fabric junk). If I remember correctly I think it was the "Dual Lock" variety. I bought it at Tru Value hardware store. I live in a hot climate and it never stayed until I cleaned the windshield to the extreme with pure alcohol and a clean(read "new") microfiber cloth. Viola! I love it!
