C6AEU heads??

C6AEU heads??

Found a rebuilt 390 tonite with c6aeu heads on it. My 390 I have now is a truck model d2teaa. Are these c6 heads a better choice and are these 4V?? any help guys

There are no 4v/2v heads for the FE.

The D2TE's would have hardened exhaust seats for unleaded gas, so you're probably better off sticking with those.

Unless those heads are something special, they would not improve anything.

Not sure about the compression either - might be worse (depending on what you want, what cam you have, etc).

If the engine was rebuilt, there is a better than even chance that hardened valve seats were put into the older heads then. Performance wise the heads are identical.

my d2teaa heads are basically brand new rebuilt but the other ones might be as well. hmmm don't know if I'd keep them on there or just use mine then. thanks guys
