Anyone know where i can get a 4 BBL 390 intake? I don't want to pay too much, would like to get a 390 GT intake. I am also looking for a set of C8AE-H heads, i saw that Putt had some heads but one was C6AE and one was C8AE, does this make a difference?
Call Dennis at DSC. He will get you an intake at a reasonable price.
You can review some of what he has on his website under the link to "Manifolds: Intakes and Exhaust". The phone number is on the home page. www.dscmotorsport.com
I visited his site, he has a lot of stuff on there that is really resonable. great info!!
Did you ever hear of accelerated motion? They have a bunch of new parts, kits, for everything but 390's are in there as well. Just wanted to know if parts were good quaility or not.

Hey-All Go No ShowAre you talking about the C8AE-H heads? I think those are off of the 68-70 car 390's?? They are supposed to be one of the better heads you can get for these engines, using stock heads that is. I didn't think they came on the trucks, did you or someone do something to the motor in your truck? what truck do you have? If you have those heads on there it should be up around 10:1 compression.
well i bought it about 3 months ago its a 66 f100 the guy said there is a 390 in there but i found out that that motor is out of a car from the this web site thanks every one for the help but yea i need that comprestion the motor had 2v on it but thanks....
C8AE-H came on trucks also, my 70 F250 is stock 390 with those heads, if its a truck motor comp ratio is like 8.5-1, but the are good heads, take to porting and big valves real well.
