Seatbelt Warning

I just bought a 2004 F-150, ext cab XLT. It has an intermitant problem with the seatbelt warning buzzer. Even with the seatbelt done up the chime will go off at regular intervals. Relatching the seatbelt sometimes works or hitting a bump in the road the right way will also correct the problem. I looked for a loose connection but couldn't find anything obvious. It also has a power seat. Any help would be appreciated.

try turning it off via the directions in your owners manual that will shut the noise off for good

you can do it for both the driver and the passenger

Sounds like there is an issue with the belt minder system. I would check the harnesses under the seat to make sure they aren't pinched or damage by the seat tracks.
