The seatbelt sensor for my 2002 E150 is malfunctioning and causing the warning bell to ring and it is causing the light on the dash to flash. I think the problem is in the driver side seat sensor or belt latch.
1) Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
2) Can I somehow clean the sensor in the latch mechanism to fix the problem?
3) If not, how do I replace the sensor? I am hesitant to mess with it because the airbag sensor is also connected into the seatbelt warning harness at the driver's seat.
