Ok my driver rear wheel is bowed at the top leaning in the wheel well and my passenger side rear tire is leaning out at the top out the wheel well like this but not such a radical lean though but you get the idea here / / would a thrust alignment and a toe or rear axle adjustment be recommended and fix? Ford dealer service people say NORMAL and nothing to be done to fix! Oh ya they did an alignment ya just the front not the rear. Also seems the 2 rear wheels are slightly turned inward to not straight a slight turn inward on both wheels in the rear only. thanks for all help and suggestions, Iam going to alignment shop on Thursday for free check on the rack. Trucks drives straight on flat roads/streets, any crowned or slanted uneven roads/streets you get alot of over steer and having to correct all the time.
Hey Steelhorse, have you ever owned a truck before? or any vehicle with over-sized tires?
your last sentence tells me your truck is aligned just fine. The larger tires your truck has have a nasty habit of grabbing ruts and pulling on offset pavement. My current truck does the same thing, my Durango (in sig) does it, and the Mustang I just dumped with 275 width tires did it.
little cars are less susceptible due to their lighter weight and skinny *** tires
btw, are your rear tires wearing funny? I had my front tires on an old truck misaligned where they toed out like your describing...it only took a few hundred miles before they looked ripped to shreds.
