Improving gas mileage????

If gas is that big of a burden dont drive the truck everyday, mine is a hobby, and used as a truck for moving and what not, I drive a 98 Contour v6 5speed daily, still a ford, still kinda fun, gets 25 to 30 mpg.

I'm sure it's been gone through countless times (and I'm going through back posts), but I'd like to retract my previous post about mass-flo systems. From what I gather, the only thing worth getting (for my 460) is their ECU (depending on the price). Everything else is best gotten from a later model 460, but if you have one of the other engine series it could be a good option.
I hope to be able to find the EFI conversion parts and an E4OD transmission from a 97 F-series and use the baumann tranny controller with an aftermarket ecu, as well as changing the gear ratios in both axles (when I rebuild them).
