carb question

got a 73 camper special with a 390 auto. it needs a carb,should i keep it stock or upgrade?it has a motocraft 2100 d in it now. dosnt matter to me if it stays original.any advise would be appriciated

personally i like the stock 2bbls...plus they are pretty easy to work on. and a dime a dozen.

2100 series is a snap to work with. Plenty available as tude states. Pretty much a solid work horse. Should work quite well for general all-round use.

The original motorcraft carbs are underrated. They are easy to rebuild and make good power.
