Hey guys I need a nock sensor for my 88 bronco 5.0. I went to autozone and the couldnt even order it. It is a super common part. Anyone have this problem before?
What is wrong with the one you have? They are pretty simple and unless the connecctor is broke or something it should work. Put your multimeter to millivolts and
the leads on the KS contacts and tap the block right next to the ks with a hammer and
long screwdriver you should see the voltage spike. You should do the Intake air temp
sensor while you are there or at least clean it since it gets junk and crud and oil from the
pcv valve and that slow the reaction to temp changes. A bit of denatured acohol or
a quick blast or two from carb cleaner should get it like new.
