Did grills for a f350 have holes for braces that were mounted to frame extending outward for a grill gaurd or....? I saw a 1962 f350 with two pertruding braces through the grill. These braces or bars were mounted on frame, it looked factory but I'm not sure.
Anyone have a clue?????

** Foed replaced the 1965 grilles in September 1965 with the 1966 grilles for use as service part replacements.
Parts catalog sez this inre to the replacing of the 1965 with the 1966 grille: slot pattern replaces square pattern.
Personally I prefer the 1965 grille.
The 1966 grille is too "busy" with several design elements that don't match each other, especially the "1959 Pontiac" split grille treatment at the top of the 1966 grille.
Mebbe I should use "1960 Edsel" instead of 1959 Pontiac. The '60 Edsel also had a split grille treatment.
