The front axle is a 3.54 to ratio. If it's the twin I beam system like it should have, it will be a Dana 44 or Dana 50. I only have the number chart off the door jamb, I don't know what all the other numbers are, though you can see "3 54" in the number string.
I don't recognize any of the numbers for the rear axle, unless there was a 3 in front of the "558" which would point to a 3.55 gear ratio. No "L"'s means it's not limited slip, and a sheetmetal cover on the back means it's a Ford 8.8 rear axle.
Thanks for the feed back. I dont have the truck yet, I do only have the axel tag #s and the vin# 1FTEF26Y8EPA11579 if this info helps any.
Thanks again.
Brett
i think the rear in an F250 would be a D 60 not an 8.8??
you can also check the axle code in the drivers door jamb and reference it to the owner's manual. there is a chart in it telling what diff it is and what ratio.
