When I start from a complete stop, I get a thud. There is no sound associated with it, but it feels like a thud.
I can sometimes feel the same thud when I top if I stop abrubtly at a slow speed.
I have done some research here and it sounds like the issue with the drive shaft needing lubrication, or axle wrap, although I do not really understand what axle wrap really is.
I do not get any vibration and anything other than the initial thud on take off.
Greasing the slip joint would be a good place to start.
Axle wrap is the axle rolling or rotating slightly from the torque applied to the rear end from the drive shaft. When the axle rolls slightly it changes the angle of the drive shaft which can cause a problem. It doesn't sound like this is your problem.
you feel it or hear it?? if you feel it..is it on your feet??..could be sway bar bushings..when you grease the shaft like Chis had said..check your bushings...
