Well, due to time constraints, I was unable to put the exhaust system in myself, however, I was able to get a buddy (ASE cert. mechanic) to put it in for me.
When he completed the install, he called me to let me know it was finished. After calling me a few choice words not fit for print on this web site, he stated not to ever bring him a job like that again. I asked what the problem was and he stated the usual... downpipe removal and install. He also had a problem aligning the system up properly so that there was no rubbing or rattling.
Anyhow, after financially compensating him for his time and effort, his bloodpressure finally came down to normal and I was thankful I didn't attempt this myself. My truck has a sweet whistle to it now...
I guess ASE certified mechanics aren't all they're cracked up to be.
No doubt. I didnt cut any of my exhaust, just popped the trans crossmember out and slid it right out. In fact I put mine on on my lunch break and still ate lunch. Took me about 50 minutes. Just had another guy hold the downpipe while I tightened the V band clamp. MBRP 4'' turboback.

My buddy had to cut the oem system out of the truck because I had the muffler delete pipe welded in it's place. The only thing he was able to take out in one piece was the Cat. I kept it in case I have a need to re-install it.
