anybody know of a good brand of mud flaps for an f350 with overload springs?? I'd like a good heavy duty set that hang pretty low. also i'd like some that come with a bracket that somehow don't interfere with the leaf springs. any help would be appreciated.
oh ya sorry, single wheel CC. I'd like some that go in the wheel well though. If I have to screw it directly to the box instead of a bracket I can deal with it.
May be one word in search engine, But, I himmed and hawwed, and looked at, and held some up to the rig (04,cc,lb,fac.whl opening trim,4/4). Dennis cut my set custom for my needs, but has many sets ready to send. Nice style anti sale(don't lift with speed) optional lower trim available. I would suggest a spacer between lower inside mount locations and inner fender(front) though. 1 inch or so holds em nice and square to the body.I've had this set for about a year. Wish the orig. owner had done it sooner.
Good shoppin.
I like my CloudRider mud flaps / stone guards - have them on both front and back. They are pricey, but have great protection and for the rear flaps they have a full bracket that holds it in place across the top and attaches to the box.
Depending on how picky you are for looks... you can get used rubber conveyer belt material for free if you can find it. We needed some thick rubber sheeting for a project, and a business in the nearby industrial park was happy to cut a length off. My local Craigslist had a company that was giving away a whole roll. As far as heavy duty, I think the material is thicker than any mudflaps you'll be able to buy.
