89 ford f 250 460 engine
Hey All of you
My Best freind And also My Boss gave me his old truck ,Your gone love this 1989 F 250 W/ over 300,000 Miles .Ometer Reads 001009 as of 2 days ago. I'm kind a proud of it. 460 engine runs good But like all old trucks there a few
bugs in the old gal . I'm hopeing for some help out from this forum.
Thanks for haveing me . I'm going to make this old truck like a new penny
even if it takes a life time. First i need to fix the bed I'm looking for a junk yard that has a good .the old one has cracks at every seam .It's got to go.

I found the break !

!st thing is a short in the sterring collum. My stop lights stopped working.
I have isolated it down to the turn indicator switch of the hazzrd warning light
switch. I think the harness is grounding to the collum. Sometimes it will blow a fuse and other times works like a charm. I noticed that the fuse pops when
the tilt sterring wheel is in motion. I need to replace the bed on this old gal so I put the word out i'm looking to get a bed for this truck. 989 F250 ford W/ a 460 enginge
