i was wondering where you all get your 6637 filters and for how much because my locoal napa told me it would be almost 60 bucks and ive read some of you are getting them for around 35 so i was just woundering where you get yours from and the price of it
I don't know what fleetfilter charges to ship from Tx to Il, but if shipping is too high you can get them at powerstrokeshop for around $30. They're a little closer to you and may save on freight. They sell the baldwin filter so the number is 2818 instead of 6637, but it's the same filter.
I just got the AFE 6637 from Air Flow Systems, $100 and it is the 5 layer re oilable. I got the whole kit right at $200 shipped. I hear they are going to be getting the Pro Guard 7 in soon also. If interested give them a call 1-800-762-9876.

This is an AFE filter made after the 6637 filter for Air Flow Systems, I don't know if they are selling this particular filter setup on ebay but here is the thread about it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...ternative.html You can get just the filter or the kit. I just put it in Fri. and so far I love it. When I drove the truck after install the first time I heard the whooosh sound scared the crap out of me! I will have to see after I tow my 10k-12k toyhauler over the mountain to see if the droan will be too much. Hope not but will see at the end of the year. I will be towing my boat later this month so will see on this also.
One other tip, twice a year (once in the spring and once in the fall) NAPA will have their big "FILTER SALE" all filters will be 1/2 off. Make sure and watch for the sale then buy one or two at the $25-28 price! I missed it this spring by one stinkin' week! grrrr, BUT that's when I discovered FleetFilter.com If you get more than one at a time the shipping will still be the same (or close to) and that helps bring the cost of each filter down even more. I can't find my invoice right now but I think buying 2, ended up making them about $32 ea. including shipping to Northern IN. Good luck...
