Hey guys on the cab of my truck I am considering a roll on bed liner, it would be black in color it would not be taking much abuse, but something extremely fade resistant as I live in Vegas and we get alot of heat out here and something when you are done rolling it on it does not look rolled on thats all I am looking for thanks alot guys any input is welcome.
BTW just doing this mainly as a looks thing it had a vinyl top and rusted will be fixing the rust but dont want to paint it body color as the truck is a beater so roll on bed liner will be the route I plan on going.
Ya just spray it on with a shutz or rockguard gun..scuff and clean all areas to be covered, mask it up and spray it on...good prep is the key...runs aroun $25-30 a quart
I didn't sand to bare metal, but did scuff everything. On the bare rusty areas, I wire wheeled it really well. Finally, I washed everything with a scrub brush and dish soap.
