Carb for 300 CID

I have a 300 cid in a piece of equipment and possibly need a new carb or a rebuild kit any suggestions on which is better to do and where to get the carb or kit?

Definitely best to just rebuild the original carb. I highly recommend Napa rebuild kits. They're a little more expensive than the rest but definitely worth it (better stuff, more comprehensive collection of replacement items).

Get the numbers off the carb and run them by your local parts house.
