Found exploded view of stock 1980 single BBL carburetor used on 300 cid 6 cylinder engine.
Appears to be a Rochester style M-MV, but carburetor has Motorcraft embossed on the top cover.

Look for a Carter YFA.
Some depends on emissions calibration.
Do you have an electric choke?
Hot air only?
Both?

Thank you for identifying the carburetor on the 1980, 300 6 cylinder engine.
Yes, it is indeed a Carter YFA with hot air choke used on Ford trucks between 77 -85
Using the exploded view from Carburetorfactory and
Mikes carburetor parts kit... was able to identify the missing link part between the verticl pump operating lever and the throttle plate shaft.

It is not unusual for Ford carburetors to be branded as Motorcraft or Autolite when made by major carburetor manufacturers like Holley and Carter.
In most cases the only differences are mandated emissions controls like fixed jets or float bowl vents that connect to a charcoal canister.
Some are fitted with electric solenoids controlled by the engine management computer.
I'm glad you were able to find the link you need and hope it is a simple matter to get your carb working right.
