Carburetor help
The mystery has been solved. The guys on the carb forum said it must be something to do with the power valve. <TABLE width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>They were right on the money. I took the carb off and took out the power valve today. I realized what it was almost immediately. I must have been in hurry when I reassembled the carb because I had left out the ring gasket that goes between the power valve and its seat. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but that's what it was. Put the ring gasket in and the truck fired right up and ran like a champ. It is back to life after 10 years of rotting on someone's farm. Next thing I need to tackle are the brakes.
Thanks again,
Mark
