autolite 2100 bowl valve
So,
I got myself my first project truck. Its a '66 f100.
The first project i took on was to rebuild the carburetor. Fairly simple build but i am missing the rubber "nipple" part of the bowl valve.
I was thinking it may part of a rebuild kit but i couldn't find one with it. I don't even know what to call that piece.
Anybody have an idea where to find that piece?
Its the autolite 2100 model c6tf-c. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Umbrella Check valve
I did the same thing but my rebuild kit, I got at Autozone
for $10 had everything. it was the only 2 V carb kit they had.
This site here is pretty good step by step.
You'll have that baby gulping the gas before you know it.
I have rebuilt a few carbs before but that one was the first "vented bowl"
that I have done, it was weird to me because the carb didn't have the rubber
stopper on when I got it, just a hole on top above the bowl.
There should be 2 similar looking rubber parts, one is the umbrella check
valve and the other is the bowl vent stopper.
They were apparently made to guzzle the gas so fast that the bowl has to
be vented when you put yer foot down.

That rubber check valve should be in almost all good rebuild kits. I either use a Motorcraft or Hygrade 586 rebuild kit and it is included.

The check valve (C4AZ-9576-A / Motorcraft CM-825) should come with the carb kit. It can also be bought by itself.
What happens to it: The check valve either hardens up, or it has a nipple on its end where it fits into the bowl, it snaps off. This part is behind the accelerator pump, access is by removing the cover on the front of the carb.
Careful when removing the cover, there's a coil spring behind it. And be careful when pushing the check valve's nipple into the tiny hole in the bowl, cuz it's easy to snap off.
1962/74 2100 series Auto-Lite/Motorcraft carbs: There is only one carb kit...fits everything.
D4AZ-9A586-A (replaced C2AZ-9A586-A & B) .. 2100 Series 2V Carburetor Kit (Motorcraft CT-499D) / Available fom Ford.
MSRP: $33.42 // FTE sponsor PARTGUYED.COM price: $20.05.
Applications: 1962/74 FoMoCo Passenger Cars, F100/750's / 1966/74 Bronco / 1969/74 Econoline.

Thank you all for your answer,
I had to stop by autozone to buy something else and figured I would just try out their carb kit.
It had the piece in it and the carb is back together.
btw
Numberdummy, this was actually regarding the valve at the top of the carb which goes through a fairly big hole. My issue was the same as Toby, I got the carb with the whole being uncovered and didn't know anything belonged in it till I saw some pictures.

The 2100 series carb first came with a choke "pull off" diaphram (DOAZ-9J549-C) in 1970. This diaphram fits into the top of the airhorn, below a metal cover plate.
All you can see of it is when looking at the carb, is its L shaped rod that protrudes from the cover.
This diaphram did not come with the carb kit, t'was sold by itself.
