Check engine light!
My check engine light blinks as i drive, it doe not stay on, how do i go about figuring out what is the code that is shooting? and how do i do the timing on my '88 F-250, what connector do I have to disconect or connect?

Here is a link that shows how to pull the codes: EEC IV Self Test hookup . You can leave out the voltmeter/test light and simply watch the check engine light blink.
To set the timing correctly, you need to pull what's called the SPOUT (SPark OUTput) connector, which will disable the computer advance. The SPOUT connector on your 88 will be near the distributor.
