Yeah, he flared the ends so it would slip right on. He did it right. I had a local mechanic weld it on for me. He is the one that removed the old muffler and he did it with a sawzall and a ziz wheel (air cutoff tool) but you could just as easily have done it all with a sawzall. That muffler is a whopper, it weighs at least 50lbs maybe more, so be careful.
