Water4Gas????

I wanted to see if anyone had heard of the system used on the website www.water4gas.com? They talk about insane increases in gas mileage, diesels included. Any thoughts from the tech guys out there?

No, that does not work. When using electrolysis to release hydrogen from water, the efficiencies in the process cause it to take more electrical energy than the chemical energy produced. This means you're making your engine less efficient, that electricity comes from your alternator. The only way this can improve performance is if the hydrogen helps the fuel burn more efficiently, however in modern computer controlled cars, fuel burn is near 100% already. Waste of money. One of our mechanical engineering professors recently did a seminar on internal combustion engines and this topic came up, he just shook his head when people tried to justify it...
