VIN confusion

I just happened to recheck my VIN the other day and now I am confused. The number is F10DR696864. I thought it read out as 1965 F100, 352, San Jose. I was just told that it should be a 292 and not 352. I thought the last 292 was in 64. The original engine is long gone and there is a nice 390 there now so the only issue is arguing rights. Now that I am thinking again is the G07 listing a 3 speed cruiseomatic with 3:25 gears. I just want to know what she came off the line with.

You are correct the 292's last year was in 1964. 1965 was the first year of the 352.

Your initial rundown on your VIN breakdown is correct...its an early June '65 build...about 4000 units before my 700859
Also, another easy way to distinguish the 64 from 65...twin I beams are 65 up and straight axle is 64 and prior and G is a C-O-M and 07 is indeed 3:25 gears in the rear..
