error code p0720

error code p0720
I have come up with the error code of p0720 which shows output speed sensor circuit malfunction. It is on my 2000 ford bounder motorhome which is a super duty 350. I do work on my own cars but have never worked on my motorhome other then changing the oil. It only has about 15,000 on it. Can someone tell me how much (about) the part will cost and how to locate the part on the chassie. Also is it easy to replace? Will I need any special tools? Any info on this would be great. Any tips and tricks would be great also. I'm old but still like to get my hand durty although the wife hates it.... Thaks for your help on the matter.

The output speed sensor is on the tail end of the transmission housing. I think it is on the passenger side. Do not confuse it with the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) which is on top of the rear diff.
Not sure how much it will cost but you could always try ftepartsguys.com or directfordparts.com. The latter seems to have sharper pricing on some items.
