2003 Excursion V-10

I am receiving 5 error codes. P1000, P0720, P0722, P0303, and P0316. This all started after we received a few days of heavy rain. The vehicle sat parked for a week or so. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Was the truck driven through standing water or just rained on? The P1000 is an emissions not ready code which can only be removed after a specific drive cycle is completed. It usually means the battery was disconnected recently or codes have been cleared and the drive cycle has not completed yet. The P0720 and P0722 are speed sensor codes and I would bet are due to moisture and not an actual failure. The P0303 is a cylinder 3 misfire and P0316 is the crankcase position sensor. Water sometimes gets past the hood seal at the cowl and can drip onto the coils causing problems. If you aren't having any drivability concerns, I'd get the codes cleared and see what comes back since they all came at the same time.

Just rained on, over 4 inches in 2 days. It is skipping and sputtering, especially when idling and when the throttle is held in a steady position. The engine will die completely after it is warmed up and you come to a stop.
