At around 13 years old, I used to push my bicycle to the top of West Mountain (we lived in a valley, Hot Springs, AR)) and come flying down with the 50-mph speedo pegged. At that speed it was impossible to keep the bike in the right lane and it would have been all over if I had ever met a car coming up. Some day I might write a large book titled "STUPID THINGS I HAVE DONE".
