My hotrod project
Besides ford trucks I also like ford mavericks. I have a 1972 2dr with a 250 C4. I bought it right before I got my liscense and it was a daily driver for about a year. The motor is in sad shape so I parked it and made the 69 F-100 my daily driver. I decided to build my maverick into a street strip car. I pulled a good running roller 302 out of an 86 lincoln. I have bought an edelbrock performer rpm intake and hooker 6901 headers. I still plan on buying a new holley 600 dp and 4.11 gears and spool. I am making this into a grabber clone. I have a good grabber hood, spoiler, highback bucket seats, and a rimblow steering wheel that came on the early 70 model grabbers. I thought some of you might like to see it. Cool dude, my first race car back in 77 was a built 70 maverick with a create boss 302 and 4-speed top loader, ford 9" with 4:56's. It ran the 1/4 mile in 12.90 with the stock boss, I also drove it to high schools every day, girls loved it, a great car.
