I'm really hoping he doesn't get smoked too often for being in one of those little... well, since it's German, I guess we can't call it a "ricer"... he's gonna have to now live with the new responsibility of driving an "hops & barley" car! Even better, we can call it a "steiner"!
Same room, Kris. I have my back to him, and we both snicker every so often.
And the car is a 5-speed manual. Lots of folks have said that the newer tiptronics in the '03-current models is a good auto, but he wanted to get the stick anyway.
At least I don't feel bad I get 14 with my truck!!
Factor in the grin factor because it is a deisel, and there is no comparison on this earth!
Has anybody noticed that I completely ignored my dad's little comment about the drive to Tennessee?
Seriously though, he is a great dad, and he's really being a big help. He devotes so much of his time and energy towards teaching, training, and working with me and my five younger brothers and sisters. I was thrilled that I actually had the ability to do something nice to his truck that made him so happy. Wish I could come closer to what he deserves.
What a great guy! I'm not kidding when I tell you that it virtually brought tears of gratitude to my eyes when I found out what he did for me.
That is a special son. My son won't go near mine or I will rip his head off and shove it down the cavity. He would rather run through Hades with gasoline soaked underbritches than touch my truck without my permission. That's how I roll here. He is not so inclined.

My car will never be a ricer while I am driving it.
If I just had the $$$ for a new clutch (manual, not auto), chip, and injectors, I could smoke more than my dad's truck!!!! LOL

Don't be hard on yourself. If you behave and are respetful to others do your best in school I bet that's just what your dad wants.
