Help finding info for older trucks!

Hi! I know I have a newer truck but I love the older F series trucks too! I have 2 possible links that may help you find parts/specs for your trucks.
First try www.classiccarbooks.com for general books. I haven't ordered from them but it looks interesting.
Second is a link I found from Hutchin's Automotive. There's a place called Mac's & they have free catalogs broken down by models/years. It would be worth a shot to see if your truck is listed there - it probably is as they have quite a list. The site address is http://www.hutchinsauto.com/combolinks.html & it also a ncie site.
Good luck! I have a '62 Galaxie 500 I wanted to restore but just can't afford to & may end up trying to sell it. It has the 292 - what a PLEASURE to work on compared to today's motors! Heck - I can barely see my plugs let alone change them! I used to be able to rebuild carbs, put my radiator, water pump & fuel line in, do a full tune up - not anymore. Oh well - this is progress I'm told. In all honesty I'd rather have an "old fashioned" motor any day! LOL!
Sorry for the long post - lots of luck!

Just got the truck - stay tuned for more info!
