I have been trying to find information on the odd DSO number listed on my truck. 1978 F250 Crewcab 4x4. I am wondering what sort of DSO numbers your trucks got when built for export. The original thread can be found at:
Hmm... well all of the F-Series of that vintage in Australia were built here, in Australia in RHD.
I know Ford did some special orders of F-Series for export fleet customers, but I don't have any details of them.
The middle-east has been the biggest importer of F-Series, especially fleets, prehaps a fleet ordered it, and then canceled it???
Honestly I am not really sure, a country code of 95. hmm...
I called Ford again and they said that they will hand my question over to the personel who manually research this sort of information on old vehicles. If they decide to answer the request I will receive a reply by mail. Doesn't sound particularly promising, but all I can do is wait and see what happens
