Bacon when I'm home and patty sausage when eating out. Mostly because I hate limp ended bacon - gotta be crisp from end to end and hardly anyone takes the time to cook it right.
I like bacon. Only I don't like it crisp. A little crisp is okay, but I like it "limp" and greasy. And, I like it country-style--thick, and heavily smoked. Pepper on it is good, too.
That said, I eat more sausage than bacon because we have pancakes and sausage (patties) for breakfast on Saturdays, but I only get bacon maybe once every other week or so (then the face-stuffing is ON). Heck, if I were hooked up to all that medical stuff while I was eating bacon, the docs would think I was taking a drug, that's how good it is.
