I don't know a whole bunch about the Y- block but I am pretty sure I have a four barrel intake manifold for one but am not sure what the year is, what size eingine it was for or what kind of truck/car it came out of. I hope someone here can help me identify the casting number on it so know a little bit more about it. The casting number on the intake is ECZ-9425-B. Below the casting # is 2H9, and below it is a number 3. The number 3 is also on the underside of the intake. It has the firing order on it which is 15486372. The thermostat housing has the number EBV-8594-A with the number 14 below it. The intake is also cast iron along with the thermostat housing. I don't think I have ever seen a thermostat housing weigh almost 2 pounds. All information is appreciated.
Thanks for the info Nate. Hopefully I can get the year also. It probably was luck coming across a part like that. I found it with the holley carb still on it with the blue Ford id tag still attached. It took me a while to figure out what it was for because I had never seen that kind of intake runner design before.
Alright, I think I figured out what year the intake is but hopefully someone could help me confirm this. The Holley carb that was on the intake has a 284 on the left side looking at the front where the serial numbers are. On the the right side it has the number C3TE-9510-F and below that it has: List 2151-1. I would assume that the C3T stands for 1963 truck. The rest except for the 2151 I have no idea about. Anybody have any Ideas?
I checked those numbers on the carb in my parts manual and it looks like it is from a 292 in one of the following trucks:
63 F-B- or N- series 500 or 600, a 63 C-series 550 or 600, or a 64 F- or B- series 600.
I don't know what the 284 or the list # is for.

I think you've got a '57-59 312 1x4bbl intake. Similar to, or exactly, a 1957 Thunderbird. The intake for said bird is a ECZ9425B. I don't know if it was used on other vehicles, but bird parts tend to not be used on other vehicles.
Is this a part you're using, or selling? I've been thinking of changing my bird to the '57 carb, and would use that manifold in doing so.
I sold the intake earlier in the year to a guy with a 57 F-100 project, I think it was. Even though I was not advertising it as for sale, he contacted me directly by e-mail and asked if I was willing to sell it. Sorry guys.
