Road Draft System blowing out oil... PLEASE HELP
I have a 292 that is bored .060 and balanced... i bought it after the rebuild was about 4 yrs old when i bought the truck...very few mile i suspect.... i drove it to a car show last weekend and blew oil EVERYWHERE under the truck...is there some trick to putting the system together??? do you suppose the guy left something out of the setup to the block??? any secrets or do i need a PCV system instead??? i have good compression and really don't think i have that much blow by...ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED... THANKS... MIKE

They will always generate a oil mist. If the oil level is too high or the breather is plugged the engine will blow oil.
Not all dip sticks are the same either, be sure you reference with 5 quarts and a filter.
