Gear swap worth it?
A few months ago I found a really good deal on a set of 3.55 gears for my truck, and got them for $130.
However I've been looking at install costs and wondering if it's even worth the money to swap?
I'd like the better fuel economy, just not sure if it's enough to be worth $500.

IHdieselfan, How big of a differnce whas it for you going to 3.55. I have been wanting to do the same thing. I have 4.10s with the e4od. I am currently getting 16 mpg on the highway with a turbo. Thanks

Hm...
I should say, that $500 was a real quick quote I got from a local speed shop. I was told there's one or two other places that might do it cheaper, I don't know.

If you cruise at 70 MPH(or higher) a lot than it will make a difference. If you spend a lot of time in city traffic on the other hand, it will probably make little difference.
