does the 1994 4.0 rangers have a crank sensor?
i have intermitant starting and stalling problem. someone said the symptoms sound like a problem he had that was fixed with a new crank sensor.
i know some rangers have a cam postion sensor, don't know if the two serve the same purpose therefore the vehicle would have one or the other.

Early EEC-IV had no cranck sensors, OBD-II rangers have. Crank shaft sensor is used to learn what spark plug is bad (DTCs P0301-0308).
CKP generates PIP. Bad CKP - engine stalls ore does not start.
