No start hot

My good friend just aquired a 95 f350 7.3. She starts fine cold, but no start hot. We replaced fuel filter, starting fluid doesn't help.

It needs IPR (injection pressure regulator) o-rings. Cheap fix for about $30 from Ford ($15 from international and about an hour if you can have it fixed.
IPR is located on the back of the HPOP down low.
IPR O-Ring Kit (for when IPR valve replacement is not required)
(Ford) F6TZ-9C977-AN (F6TZ-9C977-AA?)
(International) 1825806C92 (1825806C91?)

I think its worth mentioning that using starting fluid in these motors is a very bad idea- starting fluid + glow plugs = big boom.

Thank you ever so much, been to two diesel mechanics. They blame injectors and glow plugs. We knew that was a bunch of hot air.

Thanks again,

John
